So many wonderful moments! Gorgeous scenery, delicious food, but we have to say that the local guides made this trip extra special. Anyone can read  the facts from a tour book. These guides wove the facts into a story, connecting the things we saw with what was happening in the country and the world at that time. They filled in the color in a black and white picture. They pointed out little tiny things we would have never noticed, and they shared bits of their personal stories with us giving us a glimpse into their lives.

We loved eating seafood fresh from the water in the Grande Marina each evening with a gorgeous view of Mt Vesuvious in front of us.

We also enjoyed driving through Tuscany at our leisure ans seeing the various hill towns.
