Travel Review: Italy Vacation, Rome, Tuscany, Cinque Terre, Venice, San Gimignano, Vatican Tour, Art & History, Architecture

My husband and I just got back from a dream trip to Italy that included Rome, Tuscany, Cinque Terre and Venice.  We were gone for 15 glorious days.  This travel agency was instrumental in planning and executing this trip and they did a fantastic job!  Our contact person went above and beyond.  She not only planned exactly what we asked for but the quality of the transfer companies and our guides were exceptional.  In fact, our guide in Rome mentioned that our travel agency was a terrific company that she really valued working with.  Each guide we had was easy to understand, very knowledgeable and extremely personable.  But the true test of a travel agent is to provide help when you are away and have no one local to turn to...that happened to us.  Our transfer from Tuscany to Cinque Terre turned into an issue when the nice new Mercedes broke down about 40 miles short of our destination - pretty much in the middle of no where. The driver was so nice and luckily glided into a rest stop but we were about 40 miles from Cinque Terre.  Our contact answered our request for help with a car from Cinque Terre coming out to get us and bring us back.  If you know Cinque Terre then you will understand what a major feat that is!  They immediately told us they would reimburse us for the charge.  Totally professional and available for any issues.  Lastly, our contact even responded to my concern over not having any dinner reservations in Cinque Terre after we had heard from a fellow traveller that they were difficult to get.  She came through again and took care of every night we were there.   When we go back to Italy we will absolutely use this company again and hopefully this she will be our agent!
