Travel Review: Italy Vacation, Rome, Tuscany, Venice, Florence, Lake Como, Colosseum, Vatican

My wife and I had a wonderful time and your program greatly enhanced the experience.  We loved Rome and the hotel choice was excellent. Special mention of our private guide through the Vatican and Colosseum whose knowledge and enthusiasm for ancient Rome was a highlight of the trip.

Loved Florence and again the choice of hotel was excellent.
 
Tuscany was a highlight. Special mention of La Chuisa - the hospitality and food was some of the very best we have ever had. We will definitely return and visit one day. The villa was beautiful but we found the location to be a challenge being some distance from the nearest town - Panzano. The road was narrow and dark and not really able to be used at night. That meant dinner had to be taken at the Villa. After La Chuisa the food and hospitality was a bit disappointing.
 
Lake Como was tremendous. We will return there again for another visit. The hotel was well positioned but a bit 'stuffy'- we will stay over at Bellagio for our next trip.
 
We loved Venice and the hotel choice was excellent. Again the private guide really made the experience even more memorable.
 
Again thanks for all your help in making the trip a memorable experience. We will be returning to Italy in the near future.
