I would have rented a car to go to Pisa.  While the bus tour was informative, I would have spent less time in Pisa.  The shops around the monument were very unfriendly to all the tourists to the point of being rude.  I am glad we saw Pisa but the best way to see it is to go and get out.  Do not spend money in the shops around the monument.   I also wouldn't use the same scooter company for the tour to the vineyard.  This should have been a great experience but the scooter company seemed shady and some of the tour drivers complained in front of the customers about other customers and the company that employed them.  They did not give adequate training to ride either and there were too many on the tour to provide the training needed or make a proper assessment of ability.

We’re happy you enjoyed the tours and seeing so many iconic sites. We’re very sorry that you did not enjoy the bus tour to Pisa and the Scooter excursion. Italians are very welcoming and warm and we’re very sorry that you encountered anything less than that. Professionalism and excellence is the standard and were sorry this was not met in this case.
