Travel Review: Italy Vacation, Rome, Venice, Tuscany, Naples, Cinque Terre, Gondola Ride, Cooking Class, Wine Tasting

Our travel agent was great.  She worked with me on our Itinerary and really listened to what I wanted.  I've never been to Italy so I told her how much I love red wine and how much I would love to attend a cooking class.  In the short amount of time, she managed to accommodate our needs.  We had Rome, Florence, Cinque Terre, Venice and a Villa in Tuscany.  We didn't have to worry about anything except for a few hiccups, but not a fault of her.  The only thing I think was a miscommunication is in Tuscany. I thought we would be doing a lot of wine tasting and we only went to two wineries.  It was like being near a candy store, but you couldn't have it.  We didn't realize we would need a car.  Luckily, one of the tourist offered to take us to some of the wineries, but we were at their mercy.

The other hiccup was in Cinque Terre - one day was not enough time.  There was too much rushing around, so I wish I knew more of that beforehand and stayed longer. 

We made a mistake on the train to Rome and there were two different stops for Rome.  We got off the train one stop too early but your company was awesome.  We called them and they said stay there and they will come get us.  No one at the train station could help us.  They said take a taxi or get on a bus.  Again, your company took care of us.

Other than that, our agent was polite, professional, and knowledgeable.  Again, she is great.  I would highly recommend this travel agent to my friends.  Every hotel she picked was great and we lucked out on some of them because they upgraded us for the same price.
