Travel Review: Italy Vacation, Venice, Cinque Terre, Liguria

For my first trip to Italy, my husband and I had only 8 days and focused on Venice and the Cinque Terre region. With the expert help of our travel agents, we had an absolutely wonderful, perfect trip. We are 100% satisfied. I am so grateful that I found your site and you connected me to this agency. It's now a month since we came home, but the happy buzz from the trip shows no sign of wearing off.

Our travel agent immediately understood the type of trip I wanted. Right away she advised me not to stay in Cinque Terre and recommended a nearby wonderful town. She took the time to talk at length with me about what we wanted to do and helped us plan the most perfect trip, tailed to our interests and budget. Our travel agent and her assistant were very available throughout the planning process and did everything they could to make the trip go smoothly. Our agent even purchased train tickets for us in Italy! The trip itinerary and app were extremely useful and easy to use. We referred to them throughout the trip. During the trip our contacts were available and supportive. When I had a concern mid-week about bad weather possibly ruining plans, they emailed quickly with reassurance and ideas for back-up plans (which turned out not to be needed).

The hotels were perfect, both in Venice and Liguria, and added immeasurably to the pleasure of our trip. The travel and transfers all went like clockwork -- totally smooth. All the private guides that they arranged for us were of highest caliber: extremely reliable, very knowledgeable, kind, energetic, generous.  When one guide had to be be replaced unexpectedly, the last-minute replacement guides (including the one who took us on a full-day trip to Cinque Terre) were fantastic.
