Which Country (Countries) did you visit on this trip?

Japan

Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Excellent.
We gave them a challenge as we would be traveling to some remote areas where few foreigners would go.
They did very well and were knowledgeable and provide great English speaking guides.
It always was easy to communicate with them using an App and the special router to allow communications with them over our iphone and iPads.
The router also was a great tool to find targets on google maps and get there.
We had super accommodations from staying with Japanese couple in there guesthouse to great hotels and super Ryokans.
We visited many places in Kyushu, the Goto islands, and a representative number of the 88 temples around Takamatsu.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Most enjoyable were the many conversations we had with local people (in English), the home cooked meals, the lunch prepared in steam oven in Beppu and some of the Japanese performances we attended.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Not much, we very much like Japan, have been there often and now have seen other parts of the country.
