Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

My husband and I traveled to Italy in May 2018 and our trip was set up by this travel agency. We toured Florence, Positano and Rome for 10 days and our travel agent made sure that every detail was in place before we started the amazing journey. She arranged trains, private drivers, hotels and tours for us. Everyone who we encountered was professional and top-notch! Heather took into account our preferences and arranged tours and times that suited us perfectly. The hotels she chose were absolutely wonderful! It was our first trip to Italy and we needed guidance and were so pleased with all of the arrangements.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The entire trip was enjoyable and memorable but the highlights for us were our private three hour tour of Pompeii with our guide who is a wonderful story teller and guide, our walking tour of Florence and our Vatican tour. This company works with such a wonderful network of tour groups - we moved seamlessly through the crowds and were given so much information in such an enjoyable manner. They all brought history to life for us! Our hotels were perfect! The hotel in Florence was our absolute favorite. The location was spot on - we were within walking distance of everything. The staff was beyond helpful and courteous (as they were at all the hotels that we stayed at) and the room was modern, clean and welcoming!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

If we did this trip again we might have stayed in Florence a little longer because there is so much to see there and we only had 1 1/2 days of sightseeing. We didn't have time for a private or semi private tour of the Uffizi and felt that seeing it on our own wasn't ideal.

Our hotel in Positano was another gem of a hotel but the location on the beach made it a little more difficult (lots and lots of steps) to get up to the top where we tended to go for dinner most nights and for shopping.
