Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

When we decided to travel to Greece and found Zicasso we were matched with three different travel companies. It became apparent right away that this travel company was the one for us. Our agent could not have been more warm, available and professional. He always answered our e-mails and phone calls almost immediately. He called me back if the answer needed a more lengthy explanation and I never once felt any hesitation about handing over a deposit, or paying for plane tickets through their company, or showing up and nobody being there to greet us.

Our agent insisted on meeting us in Santorini and taking us on an extensive tour of the island. We also went out for lunch where he took care of ordering off the menu and having us try things we never would have ordered and which turned out to be one of our most memorable meals. We walked all over Oia, which was simply magical and we just had to go back the next day on our own as our agent couldn't slow down he had so much he wanted to show us.

Our agent went above and beyond what we could ever have expected in a travel company. He was never more than a phone call away, no matter what time we called. I'm sure he had plenty of other clients to deal with but we never felt that way. We felt that we were his only priority for the months leading up to the trip and the entire time we were on the trip.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

In Santorini we took a sunset cruise on a catamaran with a total of 10 people. It was a semi-private tour where they sail to the red and white beaches, the hot springs (make no mistake the water is not hot, it's very chilly) and past the volcano and private bays. They then make you a very fine meal which included grilled chicken, pork and calamari and many side dishes which the chef was making while we were underway. Beer, wine and fine company rounded out the meal on a linen covered table. I felt like royalty. The crew could not have been nicer and more accommodating, constantly asking if they could get us anything to drink, making sure we were comfortable, telling us all about what we were seeing as we sailed past. It was such a pleasant experience.

We also enjoyed Oia so much. The views were so spectacular, the shopping was out of this world, the photo opportunities were more than you could ask for, the weather was great. We just felt like we were in a dream!

The old town of Rethymno was also so quaint. We stayed at the Avli Lounge and our apartment opened up right onto the sweet streets where there were great shops, wonderful restaurants and again such wonderful opportunities to take pictures. The shop merchants weren't pushy, just pleasant and talkative and respectful, which made your days so easygoing and relaxing.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I think we would stay longer in Crete and Santorini and possibly skip Mykonos. We just loved Crete so much and would have loved staying and exploring that quaint town so much and Santorini was a dream come true and we hated leaving. Mykonos was nice but not nearly as beautiful as the other two places we stayed.
