I worked with this Ireland travel agent on planning a special trip to Ireland to celebrate my mother's birthday. My mother has always been intrigued with Ireland and the trip was absolutely fabulous! My agent helped me treat my mother like a queen on this trip!

We took in a lot of sights during our 10 days in Ireland and everything went smoothly along the way. We had a bit of an unforeseen issue with one of the hotels that was beyond our travel company's control and our agent handled it quickly, professionally and with superb results!

All the details of our trip were well planned out and arrived in a well-organized customized binder so we boarded the plane feeling that we were in good hands and all we had to do was relax and have a great time!

I enjoyed working with this agent and I would recommend this travel company to anyone wanting to plan a vacation to Ireland and/or the UK. She was a pleasure to work with and was very accommodating to my requests, interests and trying to fit it all into 10 days!!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Our agent encouraged us to take a day trip to the Aran Islands and it was one of our very favorite experiences in Ireland. What a beautiful place . . . so rugged yet full of history, natural beauty and wonderful people! We toured the island via horse and trap and had the most charming guide whose family has lived on the island for 8 generations.

We also loved our "Ring of Kerry" tour - especially the Skelligs. Again, we were blessed to have another charming guide - this time we saw the sights via a hired driver/guide so we could both relax and enjoy the scenery without having to stress about driving and directions. Our agent had made the arrangements for the driver during our planning process so all the details were taken care of ahead of time . . all we had to do was enjoy the ride!

Ending the trip with two nights at a castle was such a treat. It was a magical feeling to stay in such regal surroundings with so much history, beautiful grounds, amazing food and a fantastic staff. A nice relaxing way to end such an exciting 10 days in Ireland!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

The first time visiting a country is a challenge because you want to see "everything", but there really isn't enough time to see it all yet have time to relax and take it all in. We covered a lot of ground in 10 days at a great pace - not too rushed. Our travel agent couldn't have planned it better. I just wish we would have had a few extra days to visit the Cork/Kinsale area as well as the Dingle Peninsula, but there just wasn't enough time to do it all.
