Our travel agent and her company did an excellent job of listening to what I wanted from our trip. After talking with me she worked up an initial Itinerary then made multiple changes as we discussed plans in further details. The key to our successful trip was starting early and working with our agent via email and telephone calls.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Wow!!! A tough question to answer. When asked by our travel agent what I wanted--I answered, "Show me Ireland" and she and her company did exactly that. In short, Ireland is one giant postcard with too many different and wonderful places and people to single out. Plus, having a knowledgeable and dedicated personal driver for nine (9) days who knows Ireland (especially the Western coast) like the back of his hand was great.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Very few changes. Working with our agent for almost 5 months, we managed to think-through many potential issues and took care of problems in advance. The only recommendation I made to our agent and her company was to obtain advance tickets to Kilmainham Goal in Dublin (we heard from others it was a great tour, but were unable to get tickets since it was sold out during our 3 days in Dublin). Also, woould recommend purchasing online tickets to view the Book of Kells at Trinity College to avoid long waiting lines.
