Travel Review: Luxury Italy Vacation, Rome, Florence Segway Tour

The car rental with Avis was a horrible experience. The car reserved for us did not fit our luggage.  After much waiting, we had to go to the airport.  We hardly fit in that car.  The GPS in the car was not the best either. On top of it, Avis charged us for both cars for the same day. There was not enough time for us to get to our cooking class, so we missed it.

Exiting Rome airport was also a nightmare. There were thousands of people trying to get to the airport through a bottle neck created by authorities.  This was not  for any kind of document checking. If there is a way for a VIP exiting, it would make the trip enormously more pleasant.
