Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip that this travel agency organized for my husband and I to visit Italy ended up being my dream vacation. We stayed in Venice, Lake Como, Cinque Terre, Tuscany, Florence, Rome and Sorrento. All of the tours and activities that our travel agency organized were wonderful, and they were good about checking in while we were in Italy to make sure everything was going fine. We can't wait to go back to Italy!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

It's hard to pick a favorite experience, as we enjoyed everything so much. The boat tour we took around the island of Capri was definitely one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip for both myself and my husband. After a long morning hiking around the island, it was wonderful to just relax as we we taken around to all the many grottos and caves of Capri. Our boat driver was great. His explanations about all the grottos etc. were interesting and he offered to take pictures of us by certain landmarks. We even had time to get out of the boat and swim for a bit!

In addition, the dinner we had at a restaurant on Comacina Island in Lake Como that our agency recommended was amazing! The food was mind blowing and the hospitality of the staff was exceptional.

We also very much enjoyed the gastronomic tour of Florence.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

If we had had the time, I would have spend longer in each place. (It would have been nice to have more time on our own to explore the Colosseum and Roman Forum.) However, given our time constraints I think the trip was perfect. It gave us a good sense of all the cities we visited, and I think it was the perfect way to get a flavor of Italy as a whole (as much as one can do with only 16 days that is).

We now have a good idea of where we would want to go and stay when we go back to Italy. We definitely want to go back to Lake Como for at least a week.
