We had a great trip and were impressed with the professionalism and level of

attention that our agent and the other travel consultants and guides (employed locally)

paid to us at every step of the trip.

In terms of care for the client, this agent exceeded our expectations when our older

daughter got sick with salmonella infection/altitude sickness. He came to our hotel

right away early morning, helped us get good care in the hospital and changed

easily one leg of our trip and helped us plan something else instead to

accommodate our needs and still enjoy the last part of our trip.

Our stay in the jungle was lots of fun … the main lodge

was very nice (it was cool to have a wifi connection in the jungle), the food was great, the

entire staff was friendly and accommodating and we were impressed by their hospitality.

The best part of the trip was spending time in Sacred Valley and at Machu Picchu. The

landscape and the mountain views are breathtaking. We had a great deal of luck with

perfect weather that made visiting the Incan monuments and hiking even more enjoyable.

We also enjoyed spending some time in Lima. We loved the food and had a chance to get a

true taste of Peruvian cuisine - in Lima, seafood is outstanding.

Nothing much different - the trip was very well planned and suited to our needs. Our agent

listened carefully to our initial plans and made some great suggestions. We considered

them and after some tweaking, we ended up with a well-rounded itinerary that allowed us

to travel comfortably and safely and visit many areas of Peru. This was our first trip to

South America and was worth it.

The only thing that we might do differently is allow a bit more time after arrival before

taking the first leg of the itinerary. From Lima we flew to Puerto Maldonado via Cusco, so

after an international flight from Boston to Lima, the next flights several hours later

seemed a bit much …
