Travel Review: Luxury Scotland Vacation, Stornoway, Edinburgh, Outer Hebrides, Shetland Pony Farm, Hiking, Whiskey Tasting, History

We really enjoyed our Scotland trip. However, my review may be a little biased because I sprained my ankle on day 2 of our trip. This was quite unfortunate. However, our travel agency was always available and made last minute changes to accommodate my injury. We really enjoyed meeting with the owners of a Shetland pony farm. It was a last minute switch and it was perfect. All of the hotels were fantastic, especially the castle. The rental car was perfect.  Our guides in Edinburgh and Stornaway were thoughtful and knowledgeable and on time.  In all, Scotland was everything I ever thought it would be, a fantasy come true.
