Travel Review: Luxury South Africa Safari

We are both experienced travelers and could have chosen to do South Africa without the aid of a travel company -- however I strongly advise against it! We would have missed a wealth of information and wasted an incredible amount of time without the experienced guidance from this Africa tour operator. The biggest mistake you can make is to spend the time and money to visit such a phenomenal place and miss the best sites and side trips. The incredibly friendly and knowledgeable guides will tailor the trip to you, and you will get a dedicated host and not have to do a bus tour with a herd of other tourists-- I promise you will leave SA with a more personal trip than spending thousands more on some of the high-end safari and tour companies. This Africa travel company used 5-star boutique hotels to arrange a moderately priced trip that felt like a luxury vacation. With only two weeks, we would have spent half of this time trying to work with rental car companies, navigating airports, waiting in lines, visiting tourist traps. Our guides Andy and Jeff offered an energetic and enthusiastic perspective of their country (both reside in South Africa) and remove any of the aforementioned difficulties so that you can truly relax and enjoy your visit. Together they were incredibly knowledgeable on topics ranging from history to politics to wildlife. I highly recommend this family-run tour company for its flexibility and value.
