Travel Review: Luxury Spain Family Vacation, Seville, Alhambra, Alcazar, Islamic Art & Andalusian Architecture

We selected our Spain travel agency because, out of the bids we received, our agent clearly understood what we sought from this trip, and made a proposal that reflected our goals.  The follow-through, planning and attention to detail were second to none.  Our agent ensured that our needs were met in every phase of the trip, working hard to ensure that every moment of our time in Andalusia was filled with a magnificent view, some wonderful food, a fascinating story or a moment of discovery.  We were extremely impressed with the level of personal commitment our agent demonstrated - even coming to Seville to meet us and ensure that we were happy with all the arrangements.  The guides that our agnet provided were, for the most part, top-notch, engaging and knowledgable professionals.  The accommodations selected for us were consistently situated in the best locations and the restaurant recommendations were very helpful.

We are extremely happy to have discovered this style of vacation planning - it suits travelers like us very well - those who want guidance and planning but not to be shepherded in crowds on busses, shuttling from one photo-op to the next while following the guide's colorful umbrella!  Our agent designed a phenomenal route for us with suggested side trips and opportunities for self-exploration coupled with many activities and private excursions that were professionally guided.  For our next adventure like this, I would strike a balance that allowed a little more time for us to explore on our own - we felt that some days were a bit "over-programmed" - but that is something that is hard to gauge in advance!  

Overall, this was a super experience.
