Travel Review: Luxury Trip to Japan, Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Local Cuisine

We appreciated working with a travel advisor who was located in Japan and had extensive experience in that country.  The travel advisor was friendly, informed, and great to work with.  He set up an awesome itinerary after taking into consideration our input on what we wanted to see and experience in Japan.  All aspects of the itinerary were well aligned and executed.  Our guides and English speaking assistants were always on time and where expected.  They were prepared with the itinerary, items and knowledge to get us to the right place at the right time.  The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is that the guides were of inconsistent quality.  We expected 5/5 star guides and felt that some guides were of lesser quality.  They were always prepared with the logistics but were not necessarily fully informative or knowledgeable of all the visited locations.  We did have some 5 star guides, but not consistently across the itinerary.
