Travel Review: Luxury Turkey Tour, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Izmir, Istanbul, Pamukkale Hot Springs, Cappadocia Hot Air Balloon Ride

Day 1 Istanbul tour was a walking tour and I was aware of it, but Day 2 Istanbul tour was to places that no way we could have walked. We had to find cabs / pay for it - in future I would like transportation provided or at the least be notified that I would be on my own. The Guide was very good in finding cabs and taking care of us.  

Travel Company's Comments

When there are only two people in Istanbul we suggest instead of having a car and driver sitting around waiting on them all day, they take taxis with the guides and pay for it there as it saves them a lot of money.  Something like perhaps $15.00 USD instead of a couple of hundred for a car and driver. In our pricing we always say "To save money you will take taxis when needed and pay for them there."  On this client's pricing  and voucher it was inadvertently dropped.   Of course we try to be quite diligent about this sort of thing, but things do happen!

We have written to the client and asked her to tell us what she spent on taxis and to let her know we will reimburse her for that  expense.
