Overall, this travel agency did a great job with my trip. I had a great time in the UK and Ireland and, while I know I did not get to see even half of what the UK has to offer, the itinerary that my travel agency arranged for my family and me sure made it feel like I was able to get a good chunk in. The hotels that were picked were perfect and all the transportation arrangements were spot on. And the side trips were just spectacular. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, but it was more on the specific excursion company than it was on our travel agency. My agent was very responsive to my wishes for the trip and she was excellent at keeping me in the loop for every stage of the planning. I loved my vacation and, whenever I decide to go back to the UK, this agency will definitely be the company I use.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

There were so many great memories made on this trip that it's difficult to pinpoint which ones were the most enjoyable. However, if I had to choose, it would most definitely be the sights/side trips/excursions of the trip. All the palaces, the history, the buildings and towns of heritage, Stonehenge....these are what make the UK so special in terms of tourism and these are exactly what made our trip so special and memorable. This was the first time that my family and I had ever visited the UK and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing all these sights that we only saw on TV or in books prior to this trip. To actually see the history/past and the wonder/mystery firsthand was indescribable and it is something that I will cherish for years to come.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

If I could do it again, I would probably try to manage my time a little better at each site as well as pick a different date and day to arrive in order to maximize what I can see. Knowing now how places are open late and closed early, what sights are open when, and how the public transportation works, I would definitely try to improve on time allotment for each site. Additionally, I would probably have chosen to allot more time to each of the locations. Trying to fit in so many places and cities in the time we had was a little hectic, and I may have chosen to spend more time at fewer places in order to soak everything up. With that said, each place is just so immersive and there's so many things to learn, that frankly, everything that I said may be more bark than actual bite, so to speak.
