Travel Review: Luxury Vacation in Peru, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Local Culture

We did not like our driver on the 2nd day in the sacred Valley. He drive recklessly to us. Our female guide there was also mostly interested in finishing and telling us the things that we did not need to see. Our two days in the Sacred Valley had very brief itineraries. We could have done both in one day.

It is disappointing to hear that the client found the first two-days in the Sacred Valley a little brief, but it is worth noting that the client requested this. The client's wife had some concerns about the altitude in the Cusco Region, and requested that the first couple of days were much lighter. In my follow up email with this client, the client agreed that this was indeed what they had requested. 

It is disappointing to hear that you were not satisfied with the guide in the Sacred Valley. All of our guides are official tourist guides, qualified with a university degree in tourism. We continuously evaluate our guides in all aspects of their interaction with our clients and will review this guides performance to make sure she is to the level we demand for our clients. We confirm that the guide completed the excursions as set out in the agreed itinerary. 
Peruvians in general are not well-known as good drivers. However, we operate a very strict policy on safe driving which all of our drivers must adhere to. For our clients comfort and safety, all of our vehicles are GPS tracked for location and speed. We take this very seriously. We will review your comments with the driver and also review the GPS tracking.
