Travel Review: Peru Vacation, Sacred Valley, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Amazon

I know that our agent preferred another hotel for us in Urambamba - this wasn't available, so we stayed at the Aranwa.  From a hotel accommodation point of view, the Aranwa was our least liked and we wish were able to stay at the the other hotel.  So perhaps having a different back up option would be good.  Also with the luxury of hindsight, might have stayed one more night at the hotel in Machu Picchu - not sure we got to fully appreciate that with only one night.

From personally speaking with these clients, we know that overall they had a really good time here in Peru, and were overall really satisfied with their trip. I did just want to pick up on the comments that the client mentioned about the hotel in the Sacred Valley. When the client's first choice hotel is not available, we will suggest a back up as a suitable alternative of the same level and price. The back up hotel in question is a really popular option and a good hotel, but in recent months it has started to suffer from poorer levels of service (mainly related to the restaurant), which some clients have noted. We are also now considering a different hotel (20 minutes away), which is a step up in level, but now with our newly negotiated confidential tariffs, is more accessible. Going forward, this will most likely be our first choice for a back up. We thank these clients for their valuable feedback.
