Travel Review: Portugal Anniversary Vacation

Horrendous. This travel company insisted on a deposit to take advantage of a "promotion" without a price for quote, despite their terms and conditions. We were foolish and paid. We wanted a large European vacation but quickly realised this company was gouging us on pricing, so we redived our booking to just cover our deposit. Double price for anything comprable. As a result, we booked $400 worth of travel for our $900 deposit.
Then on arrival, our first ground transfer did not show up and in breach of our contact, the 24hr emergency number would not answer. After waiting over and hour at the airport. We had to pay 29€ for a taxi out of our own pocket. For our outbound travel, our transfer once again failed to show. This time the 24hr number answered and they arranged a taxi. The taxi showed up at 7 when our pick up time was 6am. More time wasted! Additionally, why would we bother with premium transfers only to receive a taxi. Our airfare was basic economy as expected. The transfer company says they will try and arrange a different transfer elsewhere but we're not holding our breath. This company is a scam!
