I would drill down into communications to ensure I wasn't making assumptions regarding this company's role in making reservations for attractions (they didn't tell me they don't make them).

TRAVEL COMPANY COMMENTS:

I'm not sure where the communication breakdown occurred here as we are very clear that our itinerary is suggested - it even appears in both the proposal and the final itinerary we send the clients as the "Suggested Itinerary". The majority of attractions do not need to be booked in advance and most of our clients love having the freedom to be in control of their day to day activities. Our concierge service is available to make any advance reservations that are required - in fact this client did make use of the service for restaurant reservations and the falconry they so enjoyed. Unfortunately they did not request advance reservations for the Jacobite Steam Train and missed out as a result - we are truly sorry for not highlighting this and will ensure this does not happen again.
