Travel Review: South Pacific Vacation, Australia & New Zealand, Auckland, Sydney, Queenstown, Milford Sound, Opera House Tour

This travel agent planned a once-in-a-lifetime trip to New Zealand and Australia for our group of 4. Our travel agent booked us into small hotels and wilderness lodges not seen by larger tour groups. Wilderness walks and small group excursions made for special experiences and greatly exceeded our expectations. When we faced flight delays due to a cyclone our agent jumped in to rearrange flights and our itinerary. She also kept in contact with us throughout the trip with advice and adjustments as conditions changed due to weather -- for instance advising us to change our snorkeling plans on the Great Barrier Reef to to expected high winds. What really impressed us was that many of the owners of the accommodations knew our agent and her partner (and spoke highly of them) and that she had stayed in the places she sent us to.
