Dear Mr. C,

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the delay as we need to deal with our local suppliers back and forth and wait for their response. Again, we deeply regret that the Kayaking tour was not run accurately as tour description.

As our local guide’s report, he is terribly sorry that his performance might do not meet your expectation. Before starting the tour, on Feb 4th, our local guide gave short briefing about the itinerary as well as the water level in dry season. As an well-qualified guide, our local guide always respects client’s request and decision, so he let you decide to choose what you want to visit. He surely accommodates your request or even goes extra miles.

As confirmed pick-up time, he came to meet you at hotel by 04:30 AM and also reminded you to take breakfast boxes in order to prepare for sunrise tour. Then, he took you to Angkor Wat and continued visiting Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom areas, etc Ta Koa, Ta Prom, Banteay Kdei,  Bayon, Srah Srang  and Banteay Srei as confirmed itinerary – they are all along the way. He also gave speech about these temples. Besides these temples, he brought you to pass by the Elephant Terrace since it is not really a temple or sites, just a small terrace next to Angkor Thom. After lunch time at 2:30 PM, he learned that you and your travel partner had felt tired and requested him to drive to some main temples. Then, he drove you back to Banteay Samre by 4:30 PM. We hope you understand our local guide’s effort since he was trying to be flexible with your request during the long day trip which lasted 12 hours.

Regarding to the Kayaking tour, after investigated with our local guide, we believe our tour description might not match the experience exactly so we are taking steps to improve that. The Kayak tour would intentionally take you to mangroves and pass by quieter areas of floating village since they cannot go in the main thoroughfares of the village due to fast-moving motor boats. It’s a safety risk.

In conclusion, we would like to express our special thanks for letting us have a chance to create the vacation in Southeast Asia for you. There is always another side of the coin, so we have taken note both positive and constructive feedback in your trip review.

In light of the missed expectations in Cambodia, we would like to refund US$ 139.00 for 2 persons total in good will. We hope this gesture would be accepted in the spirit it is offered and ultimately we hope the bumps in the road will be soon be forgotten and you will have a special and lasting memory of your time together on your Southeast Asia journey

We would be pleased to refund this to your credit card on file upon your confirmation of the same.
