Travel Review: Tour of Australia & New Zealand, Hobart, Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Tasmania, Maori Culture, Wildlife

Kangaroo Island and Hobart were really memorable because of the animals we were able to see and the scenery. In New Zealand, the time spent with Maori guides provided some understanding of the culture and customs of these people. The whale watch and sheep farm were both exceptional experiences. Seeing one of the world's largest animals in such proximity was a once in a lifetime event. Seeing a working sheep farm provided us with respect for the amount of work involved in raising sheep and cattle happening in a setting that is almost unbelievable in its beauty.  Riding through New Zealand rather than flying whenever possible added another dimension because of the beauty of the countryside.
