Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

It was a very nice trip. Well organized for the most part. I thought the prices for the non-river cruise part were high.

They would not break down what each item cost, so we had no way of knowing how much the hotels or guides were. We were promised a meal in Salzburg that we did not receive. We did not complain, so I can't really know what they would have done about it.

One guide was unacceptable, but all of the rest were top notch. I will tell the travel agent about the guide when I get a chance.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Budapest and Salzburg. We are very independent and used Tripadvisor for restaurants and had very good results.

The restaurant suggestions from the travel agent were typical tourist places.

The hotels they chose were great. Good location and beautiful rooms.

I would try another river cruise company next time. The one we used was very expensive and the food and organization were good but not great. We have traveled on many ocean going cruise ships that had as good or better food.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Different river cruise line.

Even though we did not arrange the river cruise, we are sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied, as the company you used is considered one of the top companies in the river cruise industry.
