Travel Review: Tour of Peru, Lima, Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, History & Food Tours

I appreciated their willingness to book things a la carte for me, as I typically DIY all my trips. However, there were some aspects of my trip, I could not book myself or elected not to. However, this travel company did not show up on the dates they said they would or provide us the tickets I paid for timely.  We didn't receive any of our booking info or tickets until we called, sent emails and IMs to the travel agency.  We waited a day and a half to get what was promised.  We paid extra for the full pass to use for multiple days but we could have paid for a partial pass since we weren't able to use it in Cusco as planned. They also said nothing about a strike that affected travel in Cusco but fortunately, since I booked part of my trip online with Peru Rail directly, they notified me.  I also paid $200 for an "ALL DAY" private tour that end up taking about 4 hours and I don't think it was worth the price.  Particularly, since it really wasn't all day as advertised. While we enjoyed the tour, both the tour guide and the driver couldn't wait to hurry the tour up.  The guide was very good but I felt mislead in what we booked.  

This company has no one on the weekends to take care of your travel needs in Peru and that was when they were supposed to meet us in person. No one mans their phones on the weekends.  I had to resort to email, Facebook IM and our hotel called multiple times and we could not contact anyone. I finally received an IM from the owner of the company, at like 10:00PM on Sunday night...  I would not recommend this company.
