We loved our Vietnam adventure.  Our travel agency took all of our wishes into account to craft a custom holiday for us.  The guides, drivers, accommodations, and food were all outstanding and every aspect worked like clockwork.  We especially appreciated the sincere efforts of the guides to help us understand the culture, people and history of this energetic country.  Even during what would normally be down time during long car rides we might learn about anything from food production (true “farm to table”), how to drive (or not) in the cities, or what life was like after the war, contrasted with the present.  The guides enriched the experience for us and made it much more than merely getting us from place to place.
