Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

The trip was excellent. Our travel agency worked with us over several months to design the trip and they delivered almost exactly everything described. There was one very small oversight where a prepaid item did not exist and money was refunded immediately. Between email and telephone conversations we spent considerable time with the travel consultant. She was excellent! She answered all our questions and went above and beyond trying to meet our requests.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

When one travels for six weeks in two very different countries - Australia and New Zealand - it is hard to pick any one item. We enjoyed sailing in the waters off Tasmania. Neither of us had sailed before so the sailing/hiking adventure was extremely interesting. We also enjoyed riding a camel in the outback and then having a four star dinner in the open air in the middle of the desert. Although diametrically opposed both were fun and interesting. New Zealand had numerous good times but sailing Milford Sound and then flying back in a six-seater plane was exhilerating. These are only small indications of the great experiences we had. Throughout the trip we stayed in excellent B&B's and hotels. The rooms were very good to excellent and the assistance from the staff at these facilities was outstanding.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

There are some things we would tweak on the trip. We had two major tours on Kangaroo Island. The second one had a lot of overlap with the first one. I would do something different for the second day or cut off a day. We only did one day in Adelaide. The day less on Kangaroo Island could be used in Adelaide. In Adelaide, the main item was a tour of the Central Market. That tour was outstanding! There are other things to see around Adelaide and if I was doing the trip again, I would add a day and explore a bit more around the city. I can say the same thing for Urluru. The second day outing was similar to the morning walk around Urluru (Aryers Rock). I would look for something a bit different. We had one hotel that did not measure up to the marketing. It was clean and acceptable but not what we expected. These are very small items that we shared with the travel company.
