Vacation Review; Italy, Tropea, Matera, Puglia Region, Sunset View of Stromboli Island, Walking Amongst Olive Trees

Only one.  We went from Matera to Metaponto for an afternoon.  The pay off was not worth the 45 minute, each way, drive.  I'd have spent an extra 3 hours with a walking guide, maybe in Belvedere, or more in Matera.
We did 3 nights in Tropea, I'd add a day in Calabria, 3 nights in Matera was just right (however, having been there I don't need to go again.  That being said, it may have been the most amazing adventure of the trip).  I'd add to Puglia.
In fact, if we go back:  I'd do 4 nights in Puglia, maybe 5, and then 4 in Calabria.  Maybe 4 in Sicily.
Only thing I'd change though would be Metaponto.  Otherwise, the itinerary was perfect.
