Vacation Review: Luxury Italy Trip, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Wineries

I would probably travel in early May.  Only one restaurant was open in most hotels.  I the hotel in Syracuse, we decided to have dinner in the restaurant because we were tired from our excursion to Mt. Etna.  We walked into the restaurant and there was no one there, neither staff nor diners!  We had to find another place to eat.

As for the remark about the restaurant, I’m sorry reading that because for that night we had booked for you a delicious local restaurant (full of local people where you would have enjoyed authentic local life … and literally 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel) and you just decided to skip that without informing us. If you would have called me I would have been able to advise you so to fully enjoy your evening at best.
