Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We had an amazing trip – just two of us in a well-preserved vintage car with a driver and guide who were lovely. The guide spoke really good English and we had many good conversations. The accommodations and food, which were all included, were excellent.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Havana: although very sad to see beautiful buildings in such bad shape, the expanse and the buildings that were beautifully renovated showed what an amazing city it must have been. Trinidad was the same.

The art and music everywhere – on the streets, in a cultural centre, and other venues – was so colorful, lively, and beautiful, in spite of the poverty and hardship endured by most people.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We spent most of our time in Havana, with a long side trip to Cienfuegos, Trinidad, and the Bay of Pigs over eight days. We would stay a little longer, go to the Vinales area, and skip the Bay of Pigs. Trinidad was worth the long drive.
