Ecuador & Peru Luxury Tour Review: Quito, Galapagos, Lima, Sacred Valley, Cuzco, Machu Picchu, Incas Trail, Hiking, Wildlife

We only had 2 weeks to visit two of the most iconic places in South America so first, I wish we had more time. This trip deserved 2 1/2 weeks minimum. Secondly, I would not recommend the small boat cruise for anyone who is prone to sea sickness. I am prone but after having survived the Drake Passage last Christmas, I thought I would be fine on a small boat, if I was on medications and wearing the electronic bracelet: I was wrong! I spent the first two days extremely sick and not able to keep any food or liquids down. Being sick is not what you want to do on your vacation...Lastly, I would build in a couple of afternoons or even a full day to just relax and enjoy the sites and the beautiful hotel properties we were staying in. Especially in Cuzco or Lima. We were so busy every day of our trip, we had hardly any down time at all, and we were exhausted! But in a good way :)
