Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

From the very start Pilar from the travel company communicated with us and helped us to plan our trip to Equador and the Galapagos. My wife and I travel quite often, but we usually travel with a large group such as Gate 1 or Viking Cruises. This whole "independent" traveling worked out well for the six of us. (My Daughter, Son in Law, 2 grandgirls and my wife and I), Pilar and her staff organized a seamless itinerary that included so many wonderful experiences. For example: ( Tour of fabulous Quito, waterfalls and butterflies in Mindo, and of course snorkeling with sea lions and sea turtles in the Galapagos. Thank you Zicasso for pointing us toward this travel company and Pilar -they were 5 star.

Of course, I will use Zicasso again when the opportunity arises and also mention them to friends and family.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

1) Private Quito city tour with our guide
2) Butterfly House in Mindo and hiking in the Mindo forests
3) Cruise in the Galapagos (good accommodations and excellent staff and guides.
4) Walking and touring the Islands (Dragon Hill, Isabella Island and Fernandina Island)
5) Snorkling with Sea Lions, Sea Turtles and even Sea Iquanas
6) Charles Darwin Station and Giant Tortoise breeding center
For information purposes:
Our guide (who was excellent) for most of the Galapagos events.
For most of the Equador excursions, our guide was excellent!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Only 2 minor things I can think of,
1) We would do the Mindo day exploration differently, Butterflies, Hummingbirds and Chocolate Factory first and after that (afternoon) the Mindo Forest Hike to the waterfalls. We ran out of time to truly see the original butterfly house.-when we did the hike first.
2) Eliminate the bike ride on Santa Cruz Island
