Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

It was a great trip, yet some parts were not executed to our liking.

1. 2 and a half days in Athens were too much. 1 and a half would have been perfect for what we wanted from Athens.

2. The Parthenon visit was very nice from the historic perspective of itself, however the guide was not very informative, nor particularly engaged in moderating the tour.

3. The included dinner at the Kuzina had decent food, however it wasn't traditional Greek cuisine as advertised and expected; far from it, thus rather disappointing.

4. Mykonos accommodations at the resort was great. We loved it. 6 days at the resort, however was way too long. 3-4 days maximum would have been a good stay on Mykonos. Even the staff at the hotel was surprised we stayed that long; apparently very few people stay longer than 3 days. Instead of 6 days, we could have visited Santorini for two days. We didn't ask for it when booking because we didn't know Greece and relied on the agent's suggestion.

5. Upon our return we had a flight booked back to Athens at 5:55PM, and got to the hotel around 9:00PM. Instead a flight should have been booked early in the morning and connect to the flight to NY at the airport instead of spending a night at the expensive hotel. This was a total waste of money.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

1. The agent who met us at the airport and assisted with the transportation. He was absolutely amazing. He was friendly, informative, entertaining, engaging; we were all delighted to have him.

2. Delos tour. Fantastic excursion with an excellent guide. That's what a tour guide should be.

3. Mykonos hotel staff. Fantastic!!!

4. Exploring Mykonos and local authentic cuisine. We had a car and explored the island and restaurants where the locals eat. In terms of the culinary experience this far surpasses the expensive Kuzina in Athens.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Stay only a day and a half in Athens. I would book my own dinner arrangements in Athens. Stay 3 days on Mykonos and 2 days on Santorini or another island. Fly back to USA directly without a hotel stop in Athens.

I take negative comments seriously as I always strive to give my guests the best holiday possible.

It was unfortunate that you didn’t feel that our guide in Athens was of your standard. All our guides are fully qualified guides with deep knowledge of the sights. I have taken this issue up with her so that it doesn’t happen again.

The restaurant in Athens is picked for its location, in the old part of Athens, which overlooks the Acropolis and blends in with the tour that the guests have just taken. It is indeed a Michelin awarded restaurant with panoramic views of the Acropolis.

It makes me happy to know that you enjoyed Mykonos and the car certainly gave you the flexibility you needed to get around and know the island at your own leisure. I always try to include a second or even third island to guests but I also respect our guest's wishes and staying on one island which was something that came across as a strong wish from you. I must have misunderstood this and my apologies for this.

The final night in Athens is strongly recommended so that we can account for delays/cancellations on the day of the departure home, which could mean missing your flight home.
