Iceland Tour Review: 8-Day Vacation

Iceland was a fantastic destination. The hotels chosen were all great. The itinerary and some of the day trips could have been much better coordinated. Two times, we drove back to meet a tour, and then the tour drove us back over the same road to a place we had passed by. Another time the directions to the tour company were so poor, we missed the tour. It could have been very simply described as we drove by it, but it wasn't. The tour company also had been given our phone number although we said we could only communicate via WhatsApp. We also thought we were taking private tours, but we only had one private tour.

The trip was good, but the planning was not good. It almost appeared that the agency had never been to Iceland based on some of their directions and side trip recommendations. They recommended one side trip that clearly needed 4-wheel drive which they knew we had a minivan.

We have used Zicasso several times before, and this agency did not provide the level of service that we had experienced before. From the bad recommendations to the directions, the day tours being not private, and the lack of availability due to time change of the agency.
