WOW!! Our Ireland Trip was amazing!! Our travel planner and the staff at this tour company gave me exactly what I asked for. this was my 50th birthday gift from my husband. I've always wanted to go to Ireland, as I am an O'Brien. So with that in mind, I had to go and see and learn. I told the planner, that I wanted to do all things Irish in 7 days and see as much as I can. LOL! Not sure how smart that was, as she did just that. We started in Dublin, then on to Cong, from there, to Drumoland Castle ( the O'Brien Castle), to Killarney and back to Dublin. Stopping at landmarks along the way, in between each destination. It was wonderful and exhausting. But I wanted to do it, and the company and planner, made it happen. Our driver was so knowledgeable about EVERYTHING. So not only did we have our very own driver, but a tour guide and historian as well. Our travel planner gave me her cell, so that I could stay in touch with her the entire time - should we need her for anything.

We are using Zicasso again in October for Italy!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Oh my! everyone has asked that. It was all memorable and enjoyable. But for me, it was staying at Drumoland Castle and locating our family church and burial grounds to gain more knowledge of the O'Brien family and further the lineage research. Drumoland even gifted me with a book about the O'Brien's. Can't wait to start reading that.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Seriously. I would not want to live out of my suitcase. that's exhausting. I like to go and plant myself for the week, and go and see, as well as, some down time that isn't scheduled. Being in the car just isn't fun, you know.
