Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

We thought the trip was well organized and the company staff were attentive to our needs. On-the-go changes were no problem. We had almost nightly follow-up on pour daily activity. We were 17 days in Italy, celebrating a very special birthday. The itinerary was perfect for us.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We most enjoyed truffle hunting in the Alba area and our visits to see production of Parma ham, balsamic vinegar and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. The walking tour of Milan was also quite good.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would have liked to be in Alba when the truffle markets were operating. They were held Saturday and Sunday, and we were there Tuesday through Thursday. We also probably chosen a different hotel in the Cinque Terre region. We had no idea we would have to walk up and down over 140 steps each time we left our hotel.
