Georgia planned a great vacation for my family (parents plus two 20-ish daughters). We went to Athens (4nts), Naxos (4nts) and Santorini (3nts). It took a couple of iterations to finalize the itinerary (which I took as a positive because it showed Georgia was really listening and working to customize the trip what my family was looking for rather than offering a canned tour). And I may be just a *wee* picky :) The guides she secured were all wonderful. Our guide in Athens was absolutely lovely. She was knowledgeable and friendly. We were chatting like friends before too long. She also took great care of our daughter when she got a little ill during our Acropolis tour. Naxos was the favorite part of our trip. We loved what the island has: great beaches, food, restaurants, cultural sights, nature/hiking and water activities and what it did NOT have: high prices, crowds. Santorini..since it was our 1st visit, we couldn't *not* stop. It's beautiful for sure but it was also expensive and crowded. One and done for us. The transfers in all three locations were impeccable.
Overall, our trip was seamless and the communication with Georgia was great throughout.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Everything about Naxos.The guides Georgia secured were all wonderful. One guide told us about the villages we toured (highly recommend touring the villages, esp Halki!) He grew up in Halki and touring with him really gave us a view into the non-touristy side of Naxos. He even invited us into his home! George was our guide on our Mt Zas hike. Thanks to his humor and support, we actually made it to the top! Another guide took us on a full day boat trip around the smaller Cycladic islands. I'm a nervous boater but our guide's maturity and navigation skills put me at ease and I ended up enjoying the trip (and his company) very much. Our hotel was amazing. Can't imagine there could be any better. Location, service, room quality, beach, food. Sofia was so friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. The level of service from the entire staff was wonderful. Sofia however was next level. The only con with the property is that it's a bit far from Chora (and pricey to get to/from) but there are a couple of great restaurants walking distances from the hotel. We only went into town once.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Santorini: I didn't realize how many steps there are to get to/from our hotel. Overall it's a lovely property and the service was excellent. I actually picked this property (over one Georgia recommended) so I take full responsibility :) A suggestion would be to mention the stairs to clients (in case they, like me, are unaware). We toured two wineries. The first winery, was intimate with a knowledgeable and passionate host. We were very disappointed in the second one. It was the opposite of the first one.
I would also think about ending, rather starting, the trip in Athens (where our return flight to the US left). The early flight from JTR to ATH was rougher than I thought it would be. Better to spend the end of the trip touring Athens and only have a 30 minute drive to airport and not having to worry about missing the connection in ATH.
