Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

My husband had a trip to India on his bucket list for 20+ years. I on the other hand had no desire to travel to India. We were encouraged to contact Zicasso to investigate the possibilities of making a trip to India. From our first conversation with this travel company to the last moment of our trip in the airport, we were taken care of with excellence. Our Tour Guide was amazing! Our drivers were EXCELLENT and we always felt safe. Any and all worries I had about traveling to India were totally handled by this travel company. We were able to relax and enjoy every single moment of our time in India. We really appreciated our travel representative who spoke with us several times during our 14 days just to make sure everything was all right and we were satisfied with everything. She made us feel very special. We highly recommend this travel company.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Everyday in India was full of wonderful adventures. Each temple visited were all incredible and unique. Driving through the countryside was so interesting. The craftsman following in the footsteps of their forefathers was incredible.

Allahabad was a real highlight. The travel company encouraged us to add this to our itinerary. We stayed in luxury tents and spent the day observing the bathing rituals along the Ganges at Ardh Kumbh Mela Sangam and the Ardh Kumbh Fair. This was such a visual representation of the Hindu religion. Our Tour Guide was excellent in guiding us through the many levels of the bathing rituals and prayers offered. There were probably 50,000+ people of all ages participating on the day we observed.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We should have planned for the difference in temperatures between the northern and southern portion of India. We were not prepared for the heat in the south. Slip on shoes would have made temple visits easier. As far as our itinerary, we were totally satisfied with the pace and all the cities visited.
