Luxury Italy Vacation Review: Florence, Tuscany, San Gimignano, Uffizi Gallery, Cooking Class, Wine Tasting

Overall, this was a great trip and covered more than the basics, much more.  The choice of a villa/B&B outside Florence was great, they were friendly & we were made to feel we were part of the family. 

I usually do not like to eat dinner in the same place as I stay, but this was an exception.  The food was very good, the service good & the ambiance great!   We also enjoyed a cooking class and a wine tasting at the same place on separate nights.

The tour of Florence was the best, led by a your art history graduate with great English who was personable as well.  Events ride into Florence & return were great, friendly & on time.

I did not realize it, but the car rental came with full coverage, an essential in Italy.  It was not with the original Avis or Eurocar, but with Maggiore, but it worked.

One needs to understand, this is an Italian company and runs on an Italian schedule.  Replies were not always to what I expected (early), but they were in time & took care of our needs.  This was especially true when we needed to make a change in plans.

Overall, a great experience and I would do it again.
