Norway Vacation Review: Flåmsbana, Ålesund, Oslo, Zipline, Biking, Fjord Cruise, Train Ride

The only hiccup we encountered was that one hotel had our reservation for the wrong day, but fortunately, it had another room available.

If I could do the trip again, I would have booked a bike to ride into Flam rather than taking the Flåmsbana train. The view from the train was really great at times, but it was crowded, so the view was often obscured. There are also a lot of tunnels in which you cannot see anything.

I would have attempted to get an earlier flight back from Ålesund to Oslo at the end of our trip to spend more time in Oslo. We pretty much exhausted the limited activities available in Ålesund late in the season (October) fairly early in the day and still had several hours to kill before our flight. In the summer, there is likely more to do there though.
