To anyone worried about working with a long-distance travel agency...especially when it comes to payments, believe me, we're glad we chose this travel company over a pre-packaged bus tour. In addition to scheduling tours, we asked our travel company for transfers to and from every mode of transportation and someone was there for us at every juncture. They were never late, and all the tours, activities and hotels our travel agent recommended were worthwhile.  This truly was the trip of a lifetime.

The only possible negatives were  well beyond their control --- be aware that during early September (at least) there were tons of tourists in Venice, Florence and Siena. We were very glad that the travel company suggested private drivers or the train in most cities --  in general Italian streets are incredibly narrow and traffic is really confusing.  Ciao!
