Scotland Trip Review: Edinburgh, Islands, Glasgow, 18-Night Tour

We would not visit Glasgow. Aside from the Cathedral and the Kelvingrove Art Gallery, there was not much there of interest to us.
We would stay longer on Iona. We were there 2 days and given that it takes nearly a day to get there from the mainland with 2 ferries and a 1.25 hour drive across Mull, we didn't get to enjoy it for as long as we would have liked. Because spirituality is important to us, Iona played a big role in our experience. We would have learned more about the Iona Community and tried to plan to be there for more than one worship experience.
We would have upgraded a couple of hotels (Edinburgh & Portree) because they were not as comfortable as most of the others, although they were certainly adequate.
