Overall our trip was a wonderful experience of the beautiful Swiss Alps as well as a few days in northern Italy. We saw 5 different locations during our trip to get a flavor of the different areas and maximize our time in Europe. This was an active trip that kept us pretty busy most days, which is what we preferred. The service provided by our travel agency was excellent as they were very responsive and made some in-vacation changes based on our needs as well as changes from the tour operators. The directions were specific and ensured that we did not have any major difficulties during our trip.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The views of the Swiss Alps and Lake Como were the most memorable. You can stare at those sights for days! The views from the top of the mountains was worth the long trips involved - luckily we had good weather.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

Some of the towns we visited were tourist-centric, seeing how they are very popular locations for the best the Alps and northern Italy can offer, plus during summertime the tourism is in full swing. We might want to go again and stay in a couple of locations for longer now that we know the area and perhaps go in late spring or after school starts in September to avoid the crowds. Also having a less active day at each location would help to feel more relaxed.
