Tanzania Trip Review: Serengeti, Zanzibar, Wildlife, 2-Week Vacation

Overall I would keep the schedule the same but would change our central Serengeti lodging as it was below par. I would also add an extra night in the northern Serengeti and stay closer to the site of the actual migration. We were 3.5 hours away from the migration and since this was my stated top priority to see, that seemed like it could have been planned better to stay closer and not waste over 7 hours that day just driving. That was a negative although we did love the place we stayed in the northern Serengeti. I would also add an extra night in Zanzibar and stay at a place that was a bit more intimate.
