Your overall comments on the trip and the travel company:

Everything was perfect from start to finish. They made our plane reservations and we saved a ton of money going through them for Premium Economy on Alitalia. Our driver met us right out of baggage claim and from there on out everything went extremely smooth. The hotel accommodations were great. Both the hotel in Rome and the hotel in Positano were beautiful. Friendliest staffs ever! And right in the middle of where we wanted to be in both areas. We loved all the tours and the timeline was perfect. A chance to rest in between was appreciated. Every one of our drivers was very friendly and informative. We took all of their advice on restaurants and sites. We especially loved the driver who did our drive of the Amalfi Coast. He was our driver the entire stay in Positano. Every recommendation he gave us was spot on. We could really not have asked for a better travel agent and company.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

If I had to pick a few.

The cooking class way up in the hill looking below to all of Positano. It took place in a beautiful home and the garden was awesome. It was very relaxed and a lot of fun. Our hostess was beyond gracious. I learned A LOT!! The boat cruise to Capri was absolutely GORGEOUS! The boat was very comfortable and our guide was very skilled getting that boat into some tight spaces to see grottos and caves. The pool area at hotel in Positano was a perfect place to wind down every late afternoon.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would definitely skip the Vatican tour. But it's hard to say that because if you are there you should see it. But it is VERY crowded and not a spiritual experience AT ALL! The Sistine Chapel is literally the only place that you need to be silent at and people couldn't even be respectful of that. It was a circus. It actually made me quite sad to see how much it has been commercialized. St. Peter's Basilica is stunning though.
