Travel Review: Italy Tour, Tuscany, Florence, Rome, Venice, Sorrento, Capri, Boating, Cooking Class, Culture

Our travel agent was worth her weight in gold. We went to Italy from September 18 - October 2, 2016. We visited Venice, Florence, Tuscany (Chianti Region), Rome, Sorrento. From the time we arrived to the time we left everything was seamless. She organized private transfers where we would have been lost and let us find our own way when it was possible. We spent months emailing back and forth so that we could be sure the trip would be exactly what we were looking for. Our agent always responded promptly. We indicated that we did not want to stay in high tourist areas and wanted to experience the culture and this is why she booked us into Bed and Breakfasts. We could not have been happier! The food and service at these Bed and Breakfasts was amazing. We also spent a lot of time planning what tours we would take. Our travel agent carefully planned small group tours and some private tours. The tour companies were aware of who we were and in some cases would even phone the Bed and Breakfasts we were staying at to ensure we would be at the tour the next day. The cooking class and boat tour through Capri were some of the most amazing tours. While we were in Italy we spoke to several couples and all were shocked by all the activities we had planned and how seamless our trip had gone. I would recommend and have been recommending this company to everyone who asks about our trip.
